Crow Collection of Asian Art is proud to present a lecture ‘Asian Art 101: Confucianism, Daoism, and Art’, in which it focuses on the form of Confucianism that emerges during the China’s Song Dynasty.
Through this lecture, it is aimed to enhance people’s understanding in the relationship in Confucianism, Daoism, Buddhism, and their mutual contributions towards the dynamic integrations as seen in the works of art.
The guest speaker of this lecture, George Alfred James, has been a faulty member in the Department of Philosophy and Religion at the North Texas since 1983, teaching related courses and travelling to China and India for extensive knowledge in the area.
