Stop and smell the roses.
It’s only right to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong during the summer. And what better place to do so than at Madame Fu’s cafe, who has collaborated with Penhaligon’s British perfume house in July. The French-Chinese fusion cafe offers a delectable menu with a variety of choices which range from exquisite Chinese cuisine to an extravagant afternoon tea.
One of the popular choices at the Tai Kwun cafe is their high tea set which includes both sweet and savory treats such as a Lemongrass and Pineapple Tart, Raspberry Choux, Mushroom Tartlet and Char Siu Puff to name a few. Every set also comes with tea, coffee, fruit juice or chocolate drink.
The high tea set went hand-in-hand with the release of Penhaligon’s latest signature fragrance, Elisabethan Rose. The fragrance is closely associated with perfect happiness, which is exactly what the high tea set brought to customers.
For the month of July, Madame Fu’s spread perfect happiness through their high tea set which had been inspired by the “regal, demanding, imposing and yet so perfectly at ease” eau de parfum. Picture this: scones with homemade rose jam washed down with beautiful rose-inspired cocktails.
If this doesn’t sound too good to be true, think again! The exclusive Penhaligon’s high tea menu came with gifts from the British perfume house.
Who would have thought that two different things would be absolutely perfect together?
